The Four Seasons provides a garden like setting
to enjoy the Adirondacks
The Garden was designed and planted by Mary Hyla and has since
matured into a thing of beauty. The story is that the backyard of
the lodge was a volley ball court and dust and noise came through
the back door. Mary decided to put an end to this by planting an
English style cottage garden there. The result was truly
transforming, adding the beauty of the garden to the
natural beauty
of the Adirondacks making the Four Seasons unique among Adirondack
cottage communities. This theme is being duplicated throughout the
campus. See for yourself.
