In an effort to ensure the enjoyment and safety of all our guests, we
ask that you and the occupants of your cottage observe these few rules:
Please...
- No smoking inside the cottages.
- Follow the Four Seasons and Adirondack
trash and recycling rules. If you need a copy let us know.
Remember, bears love food and garbage and are pretty good at finding
it. I would not recommend putting it under your bed.
- Conserve energy - water, lights and heat. When our
bills increase, so do our rates. Electricity rates in the mountains are
very high.
- Park only two vehicles per cottage in the lower parking
lot. Park all other vehicles as well as any trailers in the
upper lot. Do not park in front of the dumpster, or we
will be up to our ears in garbage.
- Children are welcome to enjoy the playground and
play house. Beach toys are available at the waterfront for their use.
Please ensure that they are picked up when not in use. The wind blows
them in the water and the current carries them to Inlet.
- Drive cautiously, the road down to the camps is
very steep and can dangerous if you are going too fast. Only four wheel
drive are allowed down the hill in the winter.
- Be considerate of others, people came here to relax
and enjoy the mountains. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. until 8 a.m. If I
have complaints, and they are justified, you will not be invited back.
- No pets!
- Do not exceed the maximum number of people in any
cottage at any time. (see Cottage
Amenities details for maximum number of people per cottage which is
based on state regulations) Infants are people too.
- No long distance calls on cottage phones unless
pre-arranged by us. Cell phones work well by the beach, AT&T and
Verizon.
- Do not collect firewood on the premise or in the
State Park Land across Route 28. Collecting firewood is prohibited by
law on State Land. Firewood is available on the east side of the
complex by the green shed or at nearby retail establishments. Ensure
that all fires are completely extinguished when you retire. If
you bring firewood, burn it all or give it to me: DEC has
issued a warning concerning transporting firewood. The following is a
quotation from their website:
"One common way many of these insect pests are moved
around the country - beyond their natural rate of spread based on biology
and flight potential - is on firewood carried by campers, hunter and other
users of our forests. This firewood may come from trees killed by insect
pests and taken down wherever the visitors came from. The users are
frequently not even aware they are moving eggs or larvae of these pests,
which may be hidden on or under the bark or buried deep within the logs. A
casual observation of boaters and campers checking in at any campground will
reveal trunk loads or boatloads of firewood being brought in, often from far
distant states.
Once transported to new locations, eggs may hatch, or
larvae may mature and emerge to attack host trees in and around the camping
areas. Too often, these new infestations are not detected until numerous
trees start to die, and the infestation has spread beyond our ability to
eradicate it or control it effectively."

- Leave the cottages neat and clean. If you need
additional cleaning supplies, please let us know. Please put any items
you moved back in their original location. Actually, our guests so a
fantastic job of leaving our cottages clean. Our guests have a whole
lot of pride.
Thanks for you cooperation, we want everyone to have the best vacation
possible.
